Crèditbaixa is ideal for those who are in paid employment and registered with the CASS as insured employees.

Advantages

  • The maximum duration of the benefit is 12 months' salary.
  • No exemptions for sick leave brought about by work-related injury or occupational disease.
  • Exception period of 2, 7, 15 or 30 days (to be chosen when the policy is contracted) for sick leave caused by common illness or non-work-related injury.
  • Certificates for the start and end of sick leave can be presented at an extensive network of offices or, if you prefer, you can use the email address prestacions@creditassegurances.ad to send scanned documents directly to Crèdit Assegurances.
  • Enjoy a 10% discount on the premium for the first 6 months if your salary is paid directly into an account with Crèdit Andorrà.

Benefits

  • Supplementary cover for reimbursement of up to 90% of net salary (85% of the gross salary declared to the CASS).
  • In the event of the death of the insured (between the ages of 18 and 65), the policy pays compensation, according to the insured capital, from 6,000 euros up to 60,000 euros.
  • Sick leave resulting from lumbalgia, dorsalgia or sciatica will be paid for up to 15 days per calendar year (from January 1 to December 31).

In the event of a claim

When sick leave is taken, a certificate issued by a registered doctor in Andorra must be submitted to Crèdit Assegurances within 30 days, declaring that the insured is totally and temporarily unfit for work. It must also:

  • Describe the treatment.
  • Specify the date on which the patient became unable to work.

If sick leave continues for more than thirty days, the insured must send the insurer a medical certificate to this effect at intervals not exceeding thirty days.

Exclusion periods
